We’re Bringing the Beef!

We’re bringing lots of wagyu beef to the farmers market!

Make plans to attend the Winchester Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday, August 5 from 8:30 to noon at Zilss Hall located at 108 Memorial Hall Street in Winchester.

Be sure to stop by our booth where you can register to win a wagyu beef round steak.

Last month our winner was Kenneth Renke.

We are super excited about our new booth layout with plenty of room for more coolers filled with wagyu beef, including filet mignon, New York Strip, ribeyes, hamburger, round steak, summer sausage with jalapeno cheese and without, German sausage, jerky, rabbit, and more.

We will be bringing a few new surprises to the market this month, and some are made by my granddaughter, Jolee!!!

You can place an order on our website ahead of time and pick up at the market to be sure we have what you want. Please message me if you are looking for a brisket, fajita meat, or perhaps other items that are not listed on our website. We could have it!

Great News! We can now take credit cards!!! We will be bringing our credit card reader along and we know how to use it.

All of our beef is born and raised on our farm, without the use of growth hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. Our wagyu has the genetics that turn fat into healthy omega 3’s, monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs), polyunsaturated fatty acids and oleic fatty acids. There are several health benefits that stem from IMF, or Intramuscular Fat. This is the white lacy fat or marbling found throughout the red part of the meat. Marbling is where you find the Monounsaturated Fats (MUFA) in the beef. Monounsaturated Fat, commonly found in olive oil, avocados, nuts, and wild caught salmon.

Don’t have a lot of freezer space? That’s ok! We can help you sign up for our subscribe and save monthly plans that we offer in The Meat Club. Ask us about our 5 for $45 hamburger meat at a 10% savings off of the regular rate, or our $100 wagyu beef sampler box variety pack for a 20% savings. That’s right, you get $125 worth of wagyu beef for $100 per month. Both of these subscriptions add predictability to your monthly menu.

Want to save a lot? You can get wagyu beef ribeyes for $7.50 per pound! Let me tell you how. Place an $800 deposit on a side of beef! The cost is $7.50 per pound, hanging weight, which includes the cost of processing! We have an August 21 harvest date and this one is going to be delicious! Each side should weigh around 400-450 pounds as our best guess. Once we know the hanging weight, we will deduct the deposit from the total and invoice you for the balance. And you can pay all of it by credit card online or in person at the Farmers Market.

Need a freezer or a second freezer? We know where you can get one! Having your own freezer section of healthy food at home is now more important than ever.

Thank you for supporting our small farm. We look forward to visiting with you at the Farmers market tomorrow!

OMG! That filet was amazing. Coarse salt and pepper crusted, wrapped in bacon, seared in a smoking hot cast iron skillet, flipped and  finished in a 500 degree oven. Killer!

We had a couple of friends over Saturday and I served them Weise Farms wagyu smoked beef ribs. They melted in your mouth!! The flavor was rich and creamy.
